October has arrived in Calgary, and it has brought crisp Autumn air, beautiful changing leaves, and festive fall foods with it. We are excited for the new season, and we want to help our valued customers celebrate it!

Flashlight Fridays at the Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm
September 14 – October 26
It’s always fun to wander through the enormous Calgary corn maze, but it takes on a whole new level of difficulty after . Navigate through the corn stalks armed only with a flashlight and your sense of direction. Late admission to the maze lasts from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and includes admission to daytime fun farm activities: mini railroad train, jumping pillow trampolines, potato sack slide, zip lines, lower ropes course, mini golf, wagon rides, pig races, pumpkin patch, and more.
Pumpkin Fest at the Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm
September 29 – October 31
Enjoy all of the regular attractions at the fun farm, plus . Pick out your favorite pumpkin from the patch, enjoy pony rides, face painting, crafts, watch a magic show, and start your trick-or-treating early at the candy pumpkin explosion. Join the fall fun on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thanksgiving Monday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Autumn Jubilee at Kayben Farms
September 29 – October 14
Three separate packed with fall fun are sure to be a treat at Kayben Farms. September 29 – 30 was Kids and Critters Weekend. October 6 – 7 will be First Responders and Veterans Weekend, featuring fire trucks, a pumpkin cannon, horse-drawn wagon rides, and family photo shoots. All first responders and veterans will receive 50% off admission.
October 13 – 14 is County Carnival Weekend, featuring a traveling circus, carnival games, horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, and family photo shoots. Visitors will also have access to the year-round farm attractions, such as the pedal kart track, corn maze, fire pits, farm animals, and numerous playgrounds.

Claiming to be the largest AND scariest Halloween Festival in Canada, Screamfest is celebrating its 13th and final year with the most frightening attractions we’ve seen yet. This year’s haunted houses include: Clown Town, Reapers and Grimm, Bates Motel, What Lurks in the Dark, Walking with the Dead, and What Lies Beneath.
There are also thrill rides and attractions, including: The Screamer, Extreme Zombie House, Neighbors From Hell Simulator Ride, Jurassic Attack, Coffin Ride, axe throwing, carnival games, and The Exorcism of Adalene escape room. Open Saturdays, Sundays, and Halloween night 7 p.m. to midnight.
Pumpkin Pallooza at Cobb’s Adventure Park
October 6 – 28
Enjoy all of the exciting attractions at Cobb’s Adventure Park, plus from the patch and pictures with princesses! Attractions include: kangaroo petting zoo, mini golf, mazes, climbing wall, rope course, archery tag, and more. Saturdays, Sundays, and Thanksgiving Monday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Field of Screams at Cobb’s Adventure Park
October 5 – 27
Looking for something spooky and suitable for all ages? Check out the four haunted houses and the cemetery-themed Cornfield of Terror at Cobb’s Adventure Park. This evening event features special food, drinks, rides, and games. Friday and Saturday evenings 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The Calgary Zombie Walk
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be an extra on The Walking Dead? Find out for yourself by joining in the streets of Calgary. Put on your creepiest zombie outfit and join the horde by 3 p.m.
Goosebumps the Musical at StoryBook Theatre
October 19 – November 10
If you feel nostalgia for the Goosebumps books of your childhood or you have kids who look all things spooky, this is for you.
Spark Halloween Party
The interactive science museum Telus Spark is hosting a scary adults-only Halloween party in a mad scientist’s lab! The event will feature music from a DJ, a silent disco party, Thriller dance lessons, food, and access to all exhibits. It’s happening the Saturday before Halloween from 7 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
